With Units 3 and 4 in service and operating safely, homes and businesses across Georgia are being powered by reliable, emission-free nuclear energy for generations to come.
Around-the-Clock Clean Energy
With Units 3 and 4 online, Plant Vogtle is now the largest generator of clean energy in the United States. These new units will provide reliable 24/7 power for Georgians for the next 60 to 80 years. With the addition of Units 3 and 4, emission-free nuclear power accounts for more than 40% of the energy Óû»ðÊÓƵ generates for its member EMCs and the more than four million Georgians they serve.
