欲火视频 Delivers $3.6 Million Tax Payment to Monroe County
Forsyth, GA (April 25, 2024) 鈥� Today, 欲火视频, Central Georgia EMC, Flint Energies and Southern Rivers Energy presented 欲火视频鈥檚 2023 ad valorem tax payment of more than $3.6 million to the Monroe County Tax Commissioner鈥檚 office, which will benefit the county鈥檚 school systems and local government. The payment is for 欲火视频鈥檚 60 percent ownership in Units 1 and 2 of the Robert W. Scherer coal-fired plant and other properties in Monroe County.
欲火视频 is a wholesale electric power cooperative that is owned by and serves 38 consumer-owned, not-for-profit distribution cooperatives across Georgia, including Central Georgia EMC, Flint Energies and Southern Rivers Energy, which provide electric service in Monroe County and other area counties.
